The BAUM Young Adults and Youth.

Hello, we are BAUM youth group. We are a fun group looking to teach the future generation about the love of the Lord and Savior, to build strong life long friendships and to spread the love and word of the Lord in day to day life. We are a small class of about 8 and always happy to grow and grow.

We will happily stay with a child or children during Worship Service if needed, but children are a welcomed blessing to us and are truely welcomed at Worship.

Activities for the kids in the class room.

We have pray stickes to do with them to help make a focus for prayer.

We do a lot of painting a kids favorite.

Veggie Tales are a common learning tool for us with books, coloring pages and movies. They are a class room favorite.

Action bibles

Playing outside in the Spring and Summer with games like Jesus Says.

Our VBS is in the late summer before school starts for now its an afternoon event...

We have a cookout make crafts, build things, do face painting, have games, learn aout Jesus with sciene experiments and seek and find games. Then if weather permits we have a marshmallow roast.

Involvement in the Church

We feel the youth being involved in the church is one of the best ways to keep a child in church as they age. As a life time member of the church I can say the open hearted way the church and its members are to children not only as keep my love for the church alive but has caught the hearts and minds of my children. We strive to keep this love for the church, as a safe place to come and serve and worship the Lord and Savior in his house with a church family to help you in the ups and downs life can have. 5th Sunday- This allows the youth of the church to get in the pulpit and share the Word with others and to full the hearts of the people in the church with something important to them.
Community Outreaches- Food Pantry Can Drives. The panrty was started outside of the youth a few years ago and it has grown so much and we join in the effort to keep it going.
Christmas- We do a play every year, help in the making of the fruit bags, an age old tradition in the church and we do the Christmas gift outreach. We do car washes, yard sales and bake sales to make the money to do this in 2014 and 2015 we with the overwelming support of our church and community not only meet our goal but tripled it.
The school supply bin- also started outside of the youth group a few years ago and it has also grow so much. We help to donate money to it as well as buy supplies if something is need for the school. This is one we hope to put more support into in future years to help grow it to its fullest.
On Sunday Morning- Our two year old Colton is the "assistant preacher". Aaron and Jared take up collections. One child will light the candles if old enough. You never know were you will see the youth at during Worship.
